OMG This Sucks Please Answer
Today I bought a guild war trial form game stops, hoping that guild wars would be the best game i have every played, also because if u buy the game there are no monthly fees, and when i play it i found out there are skill packs that give you like a 100+ extra skills, and a pvp pack, so now even if i buy the game i will only get like 50 skills by default?!?!?! and in order to get more i have to purchase a pack? And what about the pvp pack? I cant pvp with out it? I am thirteen how can i buy the packs? I cant use a credit card and my mom wont let me!

The PvP pack is for people who are lazy to farm/cap or do PvE to gain these skills. All skills can be found playing PvE.

No no no, you got it wrong.
The skill packs give no more skills then the campaigns. Someone else will come along and explain it more and better then me but I will but till some1 else comes, I will do my best. Each game, there are four total, keep that in mind, come with a set amount of skills. There are core skills, and skills set for each campaign only. Those skills can be "auto-unlocked" by buying the skill packs. Which just means that you don't have to do any work to make a PvP character who can use those skills. In other words, those skill packs are simple ways of getting the same skills you would with just the games. |

You really only need to buy the skills packs for the campaigns that you don't own. And even then you only buy them if you are gonna PvP. That is the only place you will have access to them

I only bought the skill packs to unlock on my heroes because I was lazy. My PvE characters got them all on their own, and I don't PvP.

If you do decide to get the game and you want to be useful in pvp, you may also need to purchase an extra pvp thing(forgot the name- no unlocks, allows you to unlock all skills/items/heros) online.... since if you only buy 1 campaign you only get the skills from that one campaign.
So far the only way i know of getting that is through using a credit card tho >>. |

Basically, this is how it works. You can unlock all the skills for your campaign ingame through skill trainers and some quest givers. However, if you're feeling lazy, you can just get the skill pack you want and play it from there.
There is, however, a plus side to skill sets. Say you get very attached to PvP, but you don't want to buy another campaign just to get their set of skills. What you can do is instead by it from the store and get the skills you need for whichever campaign. Of course, this means you can't play PvE for that campaign. |
